What he does is incredibly unique, if you haven't seen any of his performances I highly recommend you check them out. He has to full-length films of him performing on Netflix, both equally funny and entertaining. Even I, and I am not a fan of stand-up comedy, found myself chuckling throughout both of them. He addresses all sorts of topics including politics, disabilities, racism, homophobia, and much more. The crazy part is, his sets are entirely set to music! It's like watching an incredibly irreverent musical, and I absolutely love it.
Bo plays most of his own music in his performance, accompanying himself on the guitar or electric keyboard as he sings his sets. He has always had an interest in music and was heavily involved in theater throughout high school. He even got accepted to NYU's Art School straight out of high school but deferred so he could focus on his career. As I mentioned before, he has two films of him performing out on Netflix, but he also directed the movie Eight Grade. He has also dabbled in both TV production and acting, but only slightly.
Most of his comedic material comes from his more unpleasant experiences, which we know from class is the process of collecting. He's known for bringing light and recognition to important topics in the world, whether people are ready to talk about them or not, which is both intrinsic motivations because it's important for him o get the material out, but also extrinsic because his material only thrives when it is openly received by his audiences.
Go check him out, it's super cool :)

I've seen one of Bo Burnham's comedy specials on Netflix, and I thought it was absolutely hilarious. I'm not sure he would be considered a big-c creative, but the way that he melds the fields of music and comedy is certainly unlike anything I had seen before. He's sort of all over the place, but I think that aspect of his routine speaks largely to his personality and is actually what makes it so successful. His personality really shines through in his skits, and I can only imagine the same goes for his movie Eighth Grade (I've been wanting to see it since it came out but still haven't been able to).
