For Chuggaaconroy, Playing Old Nintendo Games Is a Full-Time Job
I haven't heard of this youtuber before this post, but I checked out their channel and was really impressed with how long his playthroughs are and how dedicated they are to a series (I saw he's on like episode 70 of Paper Mario). I also saw that the channel covers a lot of games that I use to play with my older siblings on the SNES and PS2, so I'll have to check them out to see if they're as good as I remember. If you like 'Let's Play' channels, I would recommend checking out Northernlion.
ReplyDeleteVideo games were a huge part of my childhood and I saw on his channel that he played a lot of the games I enjoyed as a kid. I also did enjoy walkthrough videos and from watching some clips of his, you can tell there is the intrinsic motivator for him, which was a lot like the intrinsic motivator for me when it comes to video games. Many of the classic games he plays are games I played with my friends as a kid and did the sorts of things he records, but with each other. I know from experience that there is something about video games that gets the creative juices going, especially when you get into a flow state while playing.
