Lindsey Stirling

My creative this time is Lindsey sterling who is an amazing creative. She restructured the way classical music is viewed today. She combines classical music techniques with modern electric music. such as one of my favorite songs which is Shatter Me. The entire setting of the song is really interesting.

The music video shows a girl who is confounded to the quarters of a glass globe. She is trapped to do the one thing which is to follow the job given to her but she refuses to accept this fate. In doing so she tries to break out of her globe. A lot of the songs of Lindsey sterling is influenced by her life.  There was a time when she was homeless and she had lost faith in what she was doing but she became motivated by the ideas around her which helped her continue what she was doing to this date where now she is releasing multiple albums and has many songs played on the radio.  

In the video above is a segment where she disguises herself and pretend to be homeless but play her violin. It is a heartbreaking scene as she plays her violin beautifully but little to no people pay attention. I believe that her creative product follows those ideals held by Gardner's book "Creating Minds". They invoke a feeling of change to solve an issue both in a societal sense and an individual sense. Her music causes one to think about the world they live in or their perspectives of others. In another article called "Beyond Talent" by Teresa M. Amabile, She would be considered to be a creative that is extrinsically motivated as she always says that her music is influenced by the people around her and her fans. Lindsey Sterling is a talented artist who incorporates faith and belief in her music with a perspective of wonder
