RINI: Creating new voices in R&B

An amazingly creative and transformative artist who has inspired me and added many new voices and attitudes to the R&B genre is RINI. This fantastic artist uses new ideas and moods to create amazing R&B music that brings you to a place or mood through his voice and background. RINI's first official release was in 2016, and it has been in many singles, EPs, and albums constantly since. Even though his music has changed a lot since his early days, it still maintains a unique vibe and mood that sets it apart from other music being created in this genre. Two of his outstanding creative projects are the EP After the Sun and the album Constellations. These two projects stand out to me because they provoke a feeling that goes along well with RINI's music style and creative process. After the Sun is an early project coming out in 2018. Even though it is an earlier project, it still creates a unique listening experience, and songs on the album, like Meet Me in Amsterdam and Aphrodite, stand out to me and have become some of my favorite music ever. Each song has a unique mood but flows and coexists perfectly. One of his newer projects, Constellations, creates a mood that is more upbeat and reflects the change in the music scene in Australia and the US. The songs in this album create a totally different vibe from some of his earlier music but still work to create a specific mood through music production and vocals. Examples are Red Lights and A Starry Night in Apollo Bay.

Each song creates a unique vibe that describes a feeling and emotion that reflects the song lyrics and the purpose of the song. RINI says that his creative process is not based on routine but on creating a mood around the emotion that a place or feeling presents. These can be seen through how each song has a unique feeling that reflects the content and environment in which it was created. This can be reflected in the text We Flew over the Bridge: The Memoirs of Faith Ringgold. Both show the impact that environment and personal events have on the creation of art and the purpose of the art. Both personal experiences and environment affect art, which can be seen through how art responds to these events and the feelings they provoke. These factors significantly impact an individual's creative mind, and the projects often reflect that, especially in art. Ringgold talks about the different events and movements that changed how she created art and presented ideas. This can also be seen in RINI's work as he is very open about the different events and emotions in his life that inspire his work and the feelings they provoke. Both artists try to depict other emotions and ideas in very different ways, but overall, they reflect the artist's creative mind and what drives them to create. I highly recommend listening to RINI and his fantastic music.
